Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition

It’s been a hundred years, but the sinking of the world’s largest ship of its time on April 15, 1912 has never been forgotten. The story of the Titanic’s maiden voyage is legendary; now is your chance to experience the wonder and tragedy of the “ship of dreams” right here in Raleigh.

From now until April 28, 2013, Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition will showcase 200 artifacts retrieved from the wreck site of Titanic at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Museum goers will be able to take on the identity of a real passenger onboard Titanic as they explore re-creations of the ships interior. The purpose of RMS Titanic, Inc. who is conducting the exhibit is to faithfully and respectfully preserve the memory of Titanic and of all who sailed with her. Tickets are on sale now and range from 8 to 14 dollars.
