Looks like the Raleigh Times, will be expanding this summer. The popular bar located on Hargett Street will have more indoor seating in the location formerly occupied by Brass Grill. Not only will the new addition include rooftop seating over Holly Aiken Stitch, but it will also feature a take-out window.

Krave – Glenwood South
Krave, a new restaurant opening in Glenwood South not only will serve food until 4am on the weekends, but patrons will be able to order menu items via an iPad. The “social media type restaurant” will be opening in the space formerly occupied by Red Room at 510 Glenwood Avenue. Expect Krave to have a soft opening in May. However, the grand opening won’t take place until the first week of June or so.
Big Weekend In Raleigh!
There will be 2 festivals going on in Raleigh this weekend. There’s the Got To Be NC Festival that starts this Friday at the State Fairgrounds as well as Artsplosure which takes place in Moore Square and City Plaza on Saturday on Sunday. Be sure to check them out!
New Home Sales Are Up!

Wine and Design
This year for her birthday, my friend Vicky invited all of us to Wine and Design. Nestled within the neighborhood of Five Points, Wine and Design is a studio where you can paint your very own masterpiece while enjoying any food or beverages that you brought with you. It was really fun and a great way to kick off Vicky’s birthday celebration. Best of all, we each went home with our own piece of artwork that we painted ourselves.
New Business Openings in Downtown Raleigh
Since the first of the year, 10 new businesses have opened in downtown Raleigh. These included The Architect Bar and Social Lounge on Hargett Street, The Junction Salon & Bar on West Davie Street and Vault Yoga on Fayetteville Street.
